Thank you all for the continued outpouring of support and prayers.  We appreciate them more than you know.

As we are working to get Ridgecrest fully operational, we have made the decision to cancel all events through October 20, 2024. At this time, we do plan on hosting all events after October 20 as originally scheduled.  

We are located just off Interstate 40, and the main roads around us are in good condition. Our power has been completely restored, and our well pumps are filling our water tanks again.

Our team is all safe and ready to welcome you back to Ridgecrest.  We have missed hosting you during this fall season that is usually so busy for us. We look forward to seeing you at Ridgecrest again soon!

This is Ridgecrest.

Ridgecrest is the premier Christian conference center for your meeting, event or spiritual retreat. Nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, distractions from everyday life fall away the moment you arrive. We are less than a day’s drive from over 15 states, just outside of Asheville on I-40.

Ridgecrest Conference Center Events Hosting Update First, thanks to all who are praying, sending words of encouragement, checking in on us, and providing support. Our onsite communications capabilities are still very limited. We appreciate your patience and understanding - you will likely experience longer response times than normal as we prioritize urgent, time-sensitive matters as best we can. We understand there are organizations and individuals wondering about events scheduled here over the next few weeks, so we want to provide an update. Power has returned to most of our campus, and Internet is starting to come back. Our water system - which we operate and is separate from those in Black Mountain and Asheville - is not yet back up, but significant progress is being made. I-40 East is open, and I-40 West is open past Asheville, so our campus is very accessible. A core group of Ridgecrest team members has been onsite throughout the past week, and we anticipate bringing additional ones back very soon. Many pictures and videos in the media and online are understandably showing the worst conditions following the storm - and there are catastrophic conditions in our surrounding area and others. Whereas we have damage, others have devastation. Our campus needs repairs, but many others are faced with rebuilding. The primary damage on our campus is to some of our roads. Thankfully, most buildings have little damage, which is a blessing considering the storm's power amid the mountains and trees which help make our campus so beautiful. For now, we are hosting only emergency first responders through October 13th. We will continue to re-evaluate this timeline based on their needs and those of our local community, and we will continue to provide updates along the way. I lift up my eyes to the hills. Working in full-time ministry leaves little time to rest. We know how important it is to take a step back from the day-to-day responsibilities and breathe. This is why we continue to offer a minister getaway rate to those serving in full-time ministry. ⁠ ⁠ 🍂This fall, take advantage of our minister getaway rate of $79 per room, per night!*⁠ ⁠ 🍂Enjoy our hiking trails, mountain fall foliage, campus coffee shop, and pastor's study complete with 300+ books and commentaries. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ *This offer is based on room availability and does not apply to groups. Event planners will find our Ivy classrooms perfect for conference, seminar, and retreat breakout needs. Ivy offers 11 breakout rooms on two floors. Arranged in theatre-style seating, each room accommodates up to 50 people. Built-in screens and projectors make it easy for presenters, and a covered natural patio overlooking the Ivy firepit is available for breaks and catering space.
